How does IHLA celebrate International Mother Language Day?
Since February 2004 IHLA has been celebrating MLD. IHLA schools participate by sharing performances, food, and cultural information at our multicultural festival. Students also have the opportunity to submit work to our MLD book. These events are designed to make multilingualism visible and promote multilingialism.
